We started an MSP in 2002 named Red Key Solutions and grew it to be one of the best Managed IT companies in the New York City, Connecticut, Los Angeles and Florida areas. We switched our model to full Managed IT in 2009 and very quickly realized that we needed to standardize our stack and give clients a digital transformation roadmap.
For 8 years we managed this process with spreadsheets but the process was not scalable. We decided to convert our spreadsheet and vCIO/QBR process into an app. The initial beta saved our vCIOs hundreds of hours a year. We realized there were many strategic gaps we needed to fill and knew most MSPs shared our frustrations so we launched Strategy Overview as a stand alone company in 2017.
Founded by brothers Alex and Dimitri Markov, Strategy Overview quickly became the fastest, most flexible and the easiest to use vCIO/QBRs strategic assessment app in the world. In 2023 we launched our warranty updating module and client portal. In 2025 we launched Arya, the world's first vCIO agent to help MSPs and IT departments redefine IT strategy. We are just getting started.
